However, the soil here is also heavy with the memory of soldiers lost too soon, people like Mike Brown, the activist Edward Crawford, and the many unnamed brothers and sisters who didn't get to see their potential realized.

It is a city where only the strongest survive, but that strength isn’t just individual; it’s communal. What often goes unsaid is how much "community" actually means here. Beyond the headlines, diverse leaders are taking the grounds of innovation to heights beyond imagination.
